 Happy Birthday, Trouble and Tigger. They're my cats of the day every day.
Cats
I am particularly intrigued by reviews that define me as a person who likes cats. I don't define myself that way but I suppose if you just look at the pictures on the first page, you could think that.
I do like cats. And wolves. I am serially obsessive (I get very interested in one topic for awhile) and the cat thing just started to take on a life of its own. Hence the Cat of the Day series.
I must admit to being somewhat picky about the Cats of the Day. The requirements for the Cat of the Day are that it must be:
- interesting
- memorable
Too cute cats and kittens are usually not memorable, although there are some very memorable exceptions.
I detest:
- LOLcats
- glitter cats
- pictures that make fun of cats or make them appear stupid
About half of the Cats of the Day are nominated by other stumblers. If you send me a cat, I will always appreciate that you took the time to send it to me. If I do not use it, I am either backlogged on cats, am waiting for the correct article or poem to link it to, or I didn't like it. It doesn't mean that I don't like you. On the contrary, I am honored by how many people think of me when they stumble on a cat they like.
